Do vendors located outside the state of Hawaii have to meet the requirement for compliance documents?
Yes. All vendors must submit compliance documents when required (See What are compliance documents?)
If a vendor is exempt, the vendor will receive compliance documentation stating so.
The easiest way for mainland vendors to meet this requirement is by registering in Hawaii Compliance Express.
