State Purchase of Service Team for Health and Human Services



What is POST?

The POST is comprised of various staff from all State departments that purchase health and human services and is open to all state staff involved in the planning, purchasing and contracting for health and human services. The State Procurement Office maintains an e-mail list and conducts meetings to coordinate various interagency activities for planning, procuring and contracting health and human services.

Since July of 1998 the State Procurement Office, in conjunction with POST has collectively addressed issues to improve the State's ability to purchase quality services from the private sector.  POST members are notified of meetings through the POST e-mail list.  Subscribe to the email list.

The POST e-mail List:

The POST e-mail list is a mail list of approximately 280 state staff involved in the planning procuring or contracting for health and human services.  SPO manages the list to keep members informed of  procurement-related activities, workshops, etc.

If you are a state employee you may join the POST e-mail list by subscribing.


Departmental Purchase of Health and Human Service Coordinators

Departments purchasing health and human services have departmental coordinators who assist the State Procurement Office in coordinating activities and ensure all appropriate personnel are apprised of SPO activities.  If you have a questionabout procurement of health and human services in your department, contact your departmental coordinator.
